The 3rd National e-Safety Working Group Meeting
The National e-Safety Working Group will hold its third meeting on the 19th May 2010 at MCIT premises. Attendees from different stakeholders, including government, the private sector and NGOs, will go over the achievements of the last three months. Members of the group will present their revised plans as per the recommendations of the 2nd meeting on 24 February 2010.
The 3rd meeting of the National e-Safety Working Group will go through the work, achievements and preliminary reports of the Indicators task force, which emanated from the National e-Safety Working Group. The indicators task force is mandated to formulate the indicators conceptual framework for child online safety, to benchmark and measure efforts done in the field of internet safety.
The agenda of the 3rd meeting will also include the efforts of the Ministry of Justice in producing a newsletter on internet safety cases, in addition to a brief description of the Arab online e-Safety Portal "Amanak".
