While it is important that young people are instructed and trained in using the internet safely and responsibly, it is crucial that parents, guardians and teachers also understand the role they can take in keeping their children safe online. As a part of extending the Parents Internet Safety group, Microsoft is hosting Parents awareness sessions that are to take place in June 15 – 17. These sessions aim at training more trainers in preparation for further expanding the Parents Group in five different governorates.

The events will be held in Markaz Tadreeb El Kada in Agouza, and will include parents and NGOs from Cairo, Mahalla, Kalioubia, Mansoura and Damietta.
