Challenge your limits, build your capabilities, serve your community and learn more about the cyber world.   The Cyber Peace Initiative (CPI) is currently expanding its Youth Internet Safety Focus Group (Net-Aman) and is opening the door for new Candidates to join the group   Who are the Net-Amanians? Net-Amanians are young Egyptians who comprise the Egyptian Youth Internet Safety Focus Group called ‘Net-Aman’. The group consists of 11 members aged 18 to 28, and is an integral part of the wider Cyber Peace Initiative developed by the Suzanne Mubarak Women’s International Peace Movement. They reflect a wide range of ages, gender, geographical background, and technical experience. As the scope of work of the group is expanding, there is a need to extend the group.   What is the mandate? The mandate is to increase awareness about Internet safety and the huge potential of ICT. The aim is to offer children and youth the chance to identify by themselves harmful content and decide on the best way to deal with that through a participatory approach. Our target is to serve the community; therefore, networking and survey research would have to be our initial objectives channels.   How to become a Net-Amanian? If you are interested in receiving the necessary training by a high level of selected institutions and corporations and if you are willing to give training sessions on internet safety doing researches among peers to ascertain the prevalence of risks that other children in Egypt encounter, you can <a href="/net_aman_application_ens/new">apply here to join Net-Aman.</a>    Qualifications <ul> <li> Aged 18-28 years old. </li> <li> Excellent command of English Language; French or German is a plus. </li> <li> High level of commitment. </li> <li> Communication and presentation skills. </li> <li> Analytical skills and ability to formulate ideas clearly. </li> <li> Ability to work with multiple people at many levels, as well as part of a team. </li> <li> Be technologically savvy. </li> <li> Be confident and qualified to speak with peers. </li> <li> Be qualified to work on regional and international levels as needed. </li> <li> Experience in community services; preferably in the field of youth and social development. </li> <li> Experience in giving trainings will be highly considered. </li> </ul>   <h6 style="margin-top: 0.03in; margin-bottom: 0.03in;">The CVs will be gathered and reviewed and if chosen you will be contacted right away. The selection and recruiting process will be according to the needs of the program's activities.</h6> <h6 style="margin-bottom: 0in;"> </h6>     390
